Kayaking in S'Agaro!

Today, we went kayaking! Now, I have been on a canoe, a kayak, a sailboat and a motor boat. . . what's next??

Don't worry, we didn't leave the 2 foot deep water without a life vest. Well, Mommy did with Mariangels, but I didn't. Fun!

Paella in Calella

Today, after our morning beach and kayaking, we went to visit Pere and his family in Calella. We had paella in Calella (well, some had wine, too!). Here is Daddy, Michael and Pere enjoying wine on the balcony. (Editor's note: Pere is Michael's business partner. We last visited them in 2003 when Clara was just 3 and Pepe was 1....they are now 8 and 6 and they have a new little sister, Berta.)

Paella!

This is Pepe and Berta (2 of Pere and Blanca's 3 children and my new friends)

Here I am with Clara and Pepe. I nosed my way in to see what they were doing.

And, Berta and me...

Blanca brought out Clara's jewelry so that we could play with it together (this is Mariangels helping me with it)

Zoe, these pictures are for you! Blanca gave me some heels to try on!

Now, I am ready to go dancing! Ole!

"I like it" - Boating in Calella

While visiting Pera, Blanca, Clara, Pepe and Berta, we went on their boat, "Carmen". It was a beautiful evening, sprinkling a little rain when we started and then the sun came out.

Here is Michael, Pepe, Blanca and Clara

Pera, Blanca, Clara and Pepe...

Our "capitan", Pepe

Our other "capitan", Clara. Both Clara and Pepe were at the helm of the boat and we didn't crash!

More than once while on the boat, I said "I like it". Couldn't be more obvious from the photos! (And Mommy's edit....Gigi even allowed multiple men to hold her!)

On Wimbledon...(from Mommy)

We had an amazing day today (pictures to follow tomorrow). If ever there was a tennis match to be too busy eating paella, drinking wine and boating, it would have been the 2009 Wimbledon Mens Final! I am disappointed that I didn't get to see what sounded like an incredible match.....although I would have wanted Roddick to win, so I would have had to start drinking the wine afterward to drown my sorrows. Maybe next time, Andy!

More Beach Feet...

Farmers Market, Food, Etc.

On Saturday morning, we went to the Farmers Market in a neighboring town, San Feliu de Guixols. I bought myself an ear of corn and some blueberries. I visited the bunny (not for sale!).

We shopped for fish and brought home some delicious rock fish for lunch.

We also bought "Navajas". They look like cigars, but are actually a type of clam. Mommy offered one to me, but I wasn't interested.

Right outside the fish market, I rode a race car.

Here is typical morning activity in Spain...

We had our own little tapa and drink. I wasn't hungry, so I had Daddy buy me something out of the "gum ball" machine. It wasn't a gum ball, but a car.

M&m and Julie and Steven are Officially a Family!

My new friends, M&m, will be coming home soon from Ethiopia. Julie and Steven's court date was Friday, July 3rd and what an exciting day it was. They passed court!! Mommy found out in an early morning email from Julie while we were in Spain. This means that I am closer to meeting M&m and can't wait. Please go visit and meet M & m (Meaza and Melese). Don't you agree that they are beautiful?

Mommy's note: Last night, I was in an email with pictures of Meaza and Melese and Gabrielle kept asking "Who's that?" (pointing to Meaza) and "Who's that?" (pointing to Melese). I was able to tell her the story of M&m and how they will be home soon and she can play with them. It was really adorable and sweet.
