Mallorca Part 4 (Wedding Day), Morning Beach Time

We walked to the little cove below our hotel on Saturday morning, the day of Mario and Alicia's wedding.

I did a lot of jumping off a wall near the beach and was exhausted which is why I fell asleep by 8 pm Spain time and missed the entire wedding party! A little beachside reading after swimming.

Mallorca, Part 3: Soller and Pool Time at Martin's

We went to a small, quaint town called Soller near where Martin lives this morning. This is the perfect cup of cafe con leche, don't you think? Mama had the coffee and I had the cookie when I woke up from my nap.

Obviously, just woke up from my nap and was very curious about....

the guy standing on his hands. I might try it sometime.

After our visit to Soller, we went for an afternoon of swimming and siesta (and food, of course) at Martin's.

Here is the outside of the bodega that goes underground. You saw pictures last night of the inside.

Some swimming and playing

I even got Berta to go in the pool without crying!

And, then siesta!

We interrupt this siesta for a snack.

Mallorca, Part 2.5 - Party Dancing Video

Mallorca, Part 2 - Pre-Wedding Party at Martin's!

Tonight, two days before the wedding, we went to Martin's house. Martin is the father of the groom, Mario. Below is a picture of the bride, Alicia and Mario.

I visited the chickens at least 3 times. Here they were given watermelon rinds to eat.

Here is the party spread with Michael and Mariangels

I had fun playing with Berta

Cheers!

This is Paco, the groom's uncle. Julie -- Daddy wants you to know that the reason there isn't a picture of him on the table is that Paco broke his leg and he was the one who brought the party 5 years ago to body slamming and table riding. Paco actually broke his leg tripping over a bull at the bachelor party for Mario.

This is Martin in his new bodega built underground. The bodega has a kitchen, a lot of wine (of course) and enough room for many people to sit down to eat.

In the bodega, this is Martin's sign....a response to his wife's sign below

This is Hemelina's sign (Hemelina is Martin's wife and mother to Mario, the groom). It says in Spanish, "I smoke because I can" (not the literal translation).

Hemelina, the groom's mom, with her 91 year old mother.
