From the garden and more

This weekend was relaxing with a spring fling at Gigi's elementary school, a beach birthday party and a neighborhood friends bbq before one family heads to New York for the summer.  First, we had a good crop of blueberries and tomatoes to start out our Saturday morning.

Remember spin art?  Gigi and Jordan both made some awesome art I am going to hopefully frame and put up in our play room.

An afternoon/evening beach birthday party!

And music with "Susan" (really, Heidi).   She was George Costanza's girlfriend on Seinfeld.  When we mentioned it in class today, she was so funny and modest.  We all have our past .... we don't talk about our first job, i.e., scooping ice cream at Baskin Robbins she said.  Maybe just slightly different that one of her earlier jobs was being an actress on a tv show that 90% of people my age watched or still do!

Music Class and Spring Break Camp

Jordan just loves animals. In particular, he loves Camille. Mystic, too, but she never gives any affection back so I think he gets that Mystic would rather be left alone. Here is just one of the many hugs he gives Camille.

On Sundays, Jordan is going to Music Together, a class I took when I was a baby. After class, there is a great play yard where we can play together. Last Sunday, I went to class with Jordan because he is still warming up to it. Pepa and Daddy went to the Farmer's Market and brought us these GIANT strawberries.

I went to my nature school's Spring Break Camp all week given that my other school was closed from Wednesday through Friday. We went to Point Dume, San Pedro to see the lost city and Malibu Creek Park. The pictures my teachers sent every day showed how much fun we had, even though our motto is "no laughing, no smiling and no having fun".

Mama was out of town in "Yew Nork" this week but on Friday she took us to the park for drop off. Jordan was interested in going with us and tried to brown nose Christopher. Soon soon, he will be a nature kid, too!

Jordan's Guitar Performance

The other night when Mama got home from work, Jordan was playing my guitar. He was so happy and proud of himself. Mama remembered when I first got it for my second birthday.

Farmers Market Sunday

For a few weeks, I have been talking about buying "tickets". When Mama asks me what the tickets are for, I tell her for the horsey. I think she finally got the hint that I needed a horse ride, badly.

Most people go to Old Navy to buy clothes, I go to give hugs (and receive them).

We went to Third Street after the Farmers Market and found a GREAT musician. Watch the video below and you will hear her voice. For $5, Daddy bought me her CD!

Tree Hugging Music Lover

Tonight, we went to Tales and Toys to hear some music on First Friday. We saw Aliya! and her Mommy, Anne, there. After many songs, we walked up and down Abbot Kinney. Daddy bought dinner from one of the "trucks" and I hugged many trees. They even had a Grilled Cheese Truck!

Music at new Culver City Mall

Nanny G took me to a new music class at the new Culver City Mall. I went two days this week....one day with Nyla!

How is this outfit? My Halloween shirt and a purple skirt! I picked it myself.

Friends and Beautiful Music

Yesterday, Xavi and his Mommy came to visit for brunch and then a jam session! Don't you think Xavi and I make beautiful music together?





Then, before dinner, I sang a few songs to Mama and Daddy (and Mema and Pepa on Skype and baby, too).....ABCD and Twinkle, Twinkle.

Zoe came for dinner and we watched Curious George after....we both fit in my chair!
