More from the garden...
Last week, Jordan crawled over to the garden and picked a tomato....a RED tomato! How did he know the green ones shouldn't be picked?

Gardening
After we got back from the park this afternoon, we harvested two huge bowls of basil. Dad plans to make A LOT of pesto!
Jordan was eating the basil while picking it.
We also cut back the cantaloupe forest, but found a few cantaloupes growing. Not ripe yet.

Dad picked and used some Japanese eggplants for a delicious veggie lasagna. Will have to take photos of the eggplants next time!
So far this year, from our garden: Strawberries, Tomatoes, Eggplant, Cantaloupe (growing not harvested), basil and other herbs (sage and rosemary), Blueberries (but no sign of fruit) and Peppers!

Cousins Cousins!!
Chelsea came last week with her friend to visit us for a week. We went to the Canals one night to feed the ducks.
Vicki came for Friday and Saturday night. I haven't seen Vicki since I was very little, but we bonded immediately.
Jordan decided he wanted to cook us a meal.
While he was cooking, we went out for a mani/pedi....just us girls.
And, in the afternoon, we went to Mother's Beach park.
Today, Stephanie surprised me and Jordan at the fun "new" (well, it's been around for several months) park.
Jordan just wanted to keep up with me and all the other big kids.
He even wanted to climb up the rock climber. He couldn't get up, but he was able to climb the grass hill on the other side. Incredible.
