Gigi Says the Darndest Things

Gigi: Mama, I found a quarter.

Mama: Gigi, you're rich.

Gigi: No, I'm not.

Mama: Do you know what rich means?

Gigi: Yes

Mama: What does it mean?

Gigi: Richard. I am not Richard.

Thankful for Mema and Pepa

Early morning gym class

Pretending Gigi

Gigi: (pointing to her PJ top that says "Puppy Love")...Mama, my shirt says "I love Mama"

Mama: Oh I wish it did. You don't have any PJs that say "I love Mama"

Gigi: Let's just pretend that's what it says.

This weekend...

was mostly about getting plants for Eliza's garden....but we did go to the CD release party for Moo Moo Musica last night and out to dinner with friends. Above is a picture of everyone but me at the party....I was off dancing and wouldn't come over for the picture.
And below, Jordan and I are "helping" mama place the plants in the garden. I was drawing and Jordan was jumping (Daddy was working).

Last stop for the weekend was the duck park. I was asleep by 5:30....really tired from all the plant shopping (oh, and I have a cold).

Eliza's Garden

Today, we went to the garden store (Mama called it a "nursery") to get plants for Eliza's garden. Below are two of the grasses we bought (Milla grass which has white flowers when they bloom and the bottom grass is a replacement for "charmed wine" that was no longer available). We also got 17 Greek lavenders. When we were walking home tonight from Abbot Kinney, you could smell the lavender coming from our yard from 4 houses away! Now, all we need to do is get the roses, which is a challenge, because the nursery we went to today didn't have them because they are "out of season".

Swinging with my Jordan

This week, I was home with Jordan and Nanny G on Thursday and Friday (teachers had conferences). I loved spending time with them (and with my friends, Nyla and Lyla). Here we are at the park (I call it "Shamu Park") swinging on the swing.
