While in Florida, we went to Whole Foods one day (or a few of the days while there). Gigi wanted to buy a yoyo and a Melissa and Doug craft kit. I was okay with the craft kit, but a yoyo? A little young, I thought. Well, Gigi had to go to the bathroom so we safely put her two items aside along with something I was going to get. When we came back, Gigi insisted on getting them and I said, well, I am not sure we are buying the yoyo. Gigi said, "mama, how would you feel if I took something away from you"? At first, I was defensive and said, "Well, the yoyo isn't really yours. We haven't bought it yet." And, then I asked "How do you think I would feel?" And Gigi said, "I think you would be sad".

Gigi Says the Darndest Things (by Mama)
Wow, I was impressed. My little sweetie is already able to be persuasive in her reasoning. And, yes, we are the proud owners of a yoyo from Whole Foods.

More Florida ...
Saying goodbye to Mema on our last day. Yum....eating my first hamentashen while Jordan looked on wishing he could have some!
One of my favorite things to do at home is to take all the pillows and put various objects on them covered by blankets. I usually use Jordan's baby blankets and at home, I put plastic animals, piece of train track, baby dolls and other items down for a nap. At Mema and Pepa's, I did the same thing, but I improvised with towels for the blankets and I put to sleep Pepa's remote controls, magazines, shoe horns and more.

Look what Mama found?
Getting ready for our company to come last night, Mama found this out of place object on the book shelf. Can you identify it? One of my fish from Friday night!

Beach Surprise
After horseback riding, I fell asleep in the car. It was a gorgeous day, so Mommy and Daddy decided to get a picnic lunch and find a picnic table to enjoy some yummy food and some wine. By the time they found that coveted picnic table, I was awake. Mommy then noticed that my friend Lyla was over on the grass with her Mommy. Jordan and I both climbed a tree....
....and Lyla and I built a sandcastle and a ghost. What a fun afternoon! Snow on Tuesday and beach on Saturday. Great week.

And I rode Lady
Jordan really wanted to get on the horse, but he is a bit young

Pancakes and Mango for Breakfast
Daddy and I made yummy pancakes this morning. We were out of regular pancake mix so we made pumpkin pancakes with the random fruit additions by me. I had 3 of them and even Jordan liked them! It was his first time eating pancakes. Good thing he has big Sister guiding him in his culinary habits. I didn't have a pancake until I was over 2 1/2!

Fish is not just for eating
So, there was a little Friday afternoon snafu yesterday. Daddy thought Mommy or Grace was picking me up from school, Grace thought Mommy was picking me up from school and Mommy was, well busy at work. I wasn't picked up on time, but it turned out just perfect for me. Teacher Vanessa let Piggie (the guinea pig) out of his cage and he ran around the ladybug rug. Then, she read Winnie the Pooh to both of us and I had ALL of her attention. How can that be bad?
Well, after those that should have picked me up realized that they were late, Daddy came and got me at 6 pm. He took me to his favorite Japanese market to pick up some items for dinner. I insisted he buy these fish. Mama was disgusted....they smell and she said they aren't the kind of fish she likes. But, good thing I have the Daddy I do because he bought them for me.....and it made for some fun playtime while I ate my real dinner.
