Venice Canal Bridge Lighting Party

Tonight, we had friends over before going to the bridge lighting party on the Venice Canals. Above is Melese with his Mama and below is Meazi with her grandma on the way to the canals.

Shortly after we arrived, the bridge was lit!

And, then we enjoyed the rest of the party. There was music and songs and Meazi and Zoe danced with me on the couch!

Mama thought we looked like we had been drinking (and not milk!) Did someone pour us some of that mulled wine? Or, was it sugar overload??

We then did a little off the couch dancing with Michael.

What a fun evening! Next weekend is the boat parade!! Can't wait.

Gymnastics Saturday

Today, at gymnastics class, I tried something new. I climbed all the way up this wall all by myself! I had so much fun today and Mama and Daddy were rewarded with a 3 hour nap.

Mama's Birthday and More

Tuesday was Mama's Birthday. Nanny G helped me make this for Mama. We put it right on the front door for when she came home from work. We also put flowers all over the house. Mama was surprised! When Mama came home from work, I ran up to her and said "Happy Birthday, Mama" (ahhh....Mama melted). We went for a quiet dinner out....so quiet that I fell asleep (at 7). I had about two bites of my burger. Mama had a delicious lobster roll....hard to find them here in LA.
Here are a few pictures from school on Friday.

Then, on Friday night, we went over to Abbot Kinney/First Friday. We didn't go into the toy store because Santa was there and it was a mad house. But, we bumped into Zoe and Michael who had just come out from a visit with Santa.

We walked with them back toward the restaurant where we were going to have dinner to celebrate Mama's birthday again with Auntie Peri. I kept saying "I want to see her. I miss her" (about Auntie Peri). Unfortunately, our dinner reservation was at 7:30 and I fell asleep in my stroller at 7!! Luckily, our table had a couch as part of it and I was very comfortable for dinner.

Our Family Thanksgiving Photo

Home again home again....Baby Lucy!

Our flight left two hours late so we had a little time to kill in the airport. We visited with Snow White, one of my new BFFs....and Mickey Mouse

We finally got home at 6 pm and I gave both Mystic and Camille big welcome home hugs. Then, I went to bed! I was tired. Up at 5 am. Ugh for Mama and Daddy. Asleep by 6:05 tonight, too.

Today, I met Baby Lucy, Zoe's new 3 day old baby sister. I loved her. While Mama was putting me to sleep, she asked me if I wanted a baby sister or brother and I told her "Yes". Daddy and Michael took me and Zoe to the Santa Monica Pier this afternoon. We went on the carousel, an airplane ride and the Ferris Wheel. So much fun!

Thanksgiving Weekend Fun!

On Tuesday, Chelsea went back to Tampa and Alex came to visit....and then the whole Goldstein/Spiegler clan came on Wednesday. Here I am with Cousin Stephanie!

And, at the pool with Mema and Pepa!

I kept asking Pepa to push me into the pool and Grandma caught me.
There was a "maze" for kids in the activity center. Early in the morning, big people were allowed to come in to help little people like me. I always dragged Grandma in with me.

At the activity center, I made a pine cone turkey (with a little help from Mama)

Here is part of our untraditional Thanksgiving dinner. Stuffed pork loin....

I would say "yum!" but I slept starting at the beginning of the meal for 3 hours (it was 4 pm and I hadn't napped all day). I slumped in my chair and asleep I was, bib and all.

On the day after Thanksgiving, I went to lunch with Mema, Barbara, Ron and Stephanie and we fed the fish and saw a turtle. Fun!
Then, Daddy let me have the cupcake he bought me for Thanksgiving. I insisted on having a "candle" to celebrate Mommy's birthday early.

And, on our last night together, we went to Karaoke Night at the pool bar. Everyone had fun. Mama and I sang "Twinkle, Twinkle" and Mama sang "Bohemian Rhapsody". Michael sang many songs, including "I'm too sexy..." He was funny!

Smart or Manipulative?

I have a new playmate and her name is Grandma. Tomorrow, I might just give her a break because Mema, Pepa, Barbara, Stephanie, Ron and Michael are coming. For now, it is Grandma. We had a relaxing day....went swimming (with Grandma), then shopping (with Mommy, Grandma and Chelsea), came back and played with my babies (with Grandma)....then, Grandma insisted on having some dinner....I kept asking, "are you done"? And, I gave her about a 5 minute notice that I was almost done. Then, we played with the babies more and I asked Daddy to please get up and go with me in the other room. I found my swim diaper and a bathing suit, had him help me put them on and then went to Grandma and told her she needed a bathing suit. It is 8:30 at night and I am swimming for the second time today (Mama hijacked the blog and is posting about it). Mommy and Daddy are so thankful to have so many playmates here for me this week.

Sea World!!

We had a wonderful day at SeaWorld. Thanks, Uncle Stephen, for taking us! There were so many things I saw that I haven't stopped talking about. Shamu definitely being in the top 5. The good news is that with the purchase of admission, we can go back as many times as we want until December 2010!!

The very first sea animal I saw was the Sea Turtle!

One of our first stops was the aquarium where we saw so many different kinds of fish and sea animals. Some of them are below, but we saw so many more.

These fish swam above me! Don't they look like ghosts?

Octopus!

Grandma and me surrounded by many Nemos!

Waiting for Shamu! A little pre-show Cheetos eating.

Shamu!! I told anyone who would listen to me since seeing Shamu, including total strangers in the elevator that "I saw Shamu!" When we got home/before dinner, I went swimming again and told Mama that I was Shamu in the water!

The penguin exhibit...

Mama Sea Lion and her baby

Another sea lion posing for us

Outside the sea otter and sea lion show.

We had a long day....we were at Sea World for 5 or 6 hours. Me....tired? No way. Before dinner, I took Grandma swimming. I finally got tired and was ready to go in for dinner.

Daddy had his former colleague, Dean, and family join us for a barbecue feast. We had a dry run to fit 12 people in our condo for Thanksgiving and it worked out perfectly!
