"I like it" - Boating in Calella

While visiting Pera, Blanca, Clara, Pepe and Berta, we went on their boat, "Carmen". It was a beautiful evening, sprinkling a little rain when we started and then the sun came out.

Here is Michael, Pepe, Blanca and Clara

Pera, Blanca, Clara and Pepe...

Our "capitan", Pepe

Our other "capitan", Clara. Both Clara and Pepe were at the helm of the boat and we didn't crash!

More than once while on the boat, I said "I like it". Couldn't be more obvious from the photos! (And Mommy's edit....Gigi even allowed multiple men to hold her!)

On Wimbledon...(from Mommy)

We had an amazing day today (pictures to follow tomorrow). If ever there was a tennis match to be too busy eating paella, drinking wine and boating, it would have been the 2009 Wimbledon Mens Final! I am disappointed that I didn't get to see what sounded like an incredible match.....although I would have wanted Roddick to win, so I would have had to start drinking the wine afterward to drown my sorrows. Maybe next time, Andy!

More Beach Feet...

Farmers Market, Food, Etc.

On Saturday morning, we went to the Farmers Market in a neighboring town, San Feliu de Guixols. I bought myself an ear of corn and some blueberries. I visited the bunny (not for sale!).

We shopped for fish and brought home some delicious rock fish for lunch.

We also bought "Navajas". They look like cigars, but are actually a type of clam. Mommy offered one to me, but I wasn't interested.

Right outside the fish market, I rode a race car.

Here is typical morning activity in Spain...

We had our own little tapa and drink. I wasn't hungry, so I had Daddy buy me something out of the "gum ball" machine. It wasn't a gum ball, but a car.

M&m and Julie and Steven are Officially a Family!

My new friends, M&m, will be coming home soon from Ethiopia. Julie and Steven's court date was Friday, July 3rd and what an exciting day it was. They passed court!! Mommy found out in an early morning email from Julie while we were in Spain. This means that I am closer to meeting M&m and can't wait. Please go visit and meet M & m (Meaza and Melese). Don't you agree that they are beautiful?

Mommy's note: Last night, I was in an email with pictures of Meaza and Melese and Gabrielle kept asking "Who's that?" (pointing to Meaza) and "Who's that?" (pointing to Melese). I was able to tell her the story of M&m and how they will be home soon and she can play with them. It was really adorable and sweet.

Beach feet

Beach in S'Agaro!

Shortly after we arrived in S'Agaro (about 2 hours by car from Barcelona airport), we went to the beach. Not even a nap for me after 14 hours in the plane. Mommy wanted to keep me up. One word, "Beach", did the trick. And, I got myself on an 11 pm to sleep, up at 9:30 am schedule (Friday) and 11:45 pm to sleep...(sleeping now) for Saturday.

This is our second trip to the beach in the early evening on Friday night...From this post, you are going to think that ALL we do is go to the beach. Not true, but it is very late (midnight), so we will have to post more pictures tomorrow.

These two sets of beach pictures are from Saturday, the 4th of July. First, we went down to the cove right in front of Michael and Mariangels house.

Then, we went to the big beach only a few more steps away! These are pictures from our visit tonight from 7:45 to 8:45 pm. It stays very light here into the late evening. Before we went to the beach, Mommy and Daddy took me for a long 2 hour walk (I napped). They bought me this cool new floatie device.

I was a little nervous to get into it in the water at first.

But, once I did, I wouldn't get out. Here is my new BFF, Mariangels.

Mommy wrapped me up as I was starting to get chilly from the cool water.

Tonight, we saw a beautiful rainbow....can you see it?

Off to Spain...see you there :)

We were up early this morning to get on our Delta flight to Barcelona. We connect through Atlanta and then non-stop to Espana!
Mommy and Daddy were plenty prepared to keep me "entertained" during our flight. They brought books, a hand fan, stickers and more.

On the way to Barcelona from Atlanta, I had my own seat!

And, once in awhile, I shared it with baby and Elmo.

More Canoeing...

In the afternoon after we walked to Africa, we went canoeing on the Venice Canals. So, we were on two continents (Africa and Europe) all in one day! It is so cool to be able to walk to the canoe and take it for a spin!

We paddled past a remote sailboat being driven by the people on the dock in this picture... we had the right of way!

Michael, Zoe and Rouslan joined us. Cute photo....Z and R look very cozy and cute together.

The Morning After

After over 12 hours of sleep, I was STILL tired from the walk....watching a few videos before getting myself really going...

Add Video

Reading to, Hugging and Counting with Babies

In the first video, I read to my babies and then not only hug one of my babies, but made sure the other 2 babies were hugging each other (this part is a bit into the video, so you will have to have patience).

More reading, hugging and some counting...
