Funday Sunday

Today, my friends JuJu and Michelle came and visited. We walked to the beach and went to Baja Cantina for lunch.

I had A LOT of black beans and some fish and then we stopped for a "ice" (well, I thought I had ice cream, but Mommy bought me yogurt). On our way back, we saw this clown who made me a doggie and also made my friends a doggie and a bear.

Then, we stopped at the Duck Park and went on the swings and the seesaw.

Then, off to Zoe's for a little bit in the afternoon and then Auntie Peri came tonight! and Lisa, Michael and Zoe joined, too.

Here's what I look like after a LONG fun day. I ended up falling asleep with the chocolate cookie in my hand. It dropped twice and woke me up as I was drifting asleep.

I Heart Elmo

I think you all know how much I love Elmo, but here is more proof.

Here I am today afer I scored my new I love Elmo sweater.

Brushing my hair with my Elmo t-shirt from Las Vegas OVER my pajamas.

Trying to find Elmo in my new hoodie towel from Grandma and Grandpa. I know he is there somewhere.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I peed in the potty!

Mommy and Daddy bought me two potties over the weekend. One was put upstairs and one downstairs. After my bath last night, I was tugging on my diaper and starting taking it off. Mommy thought (even though she hasn't read a single thing on potty training) that I might be telling her that I needed to "go". Sure enough, she took me to the potty and I peed on the potty! I think it is time for Mommy to buy me the Elmo potty training book!

Park Fun...

This afternoon, we stopped at the park before heading off to TJ Maxx. Here are some pictures. They seem familiar, don't they?

TJ Maxx Shopping -- Need I say more?

The Daddy Social Club

This morning, we had a "Daddy and Me" breakfast of sorts at Benice Restaurant. Everyone pronounces it "Be Nice", but I think it should rhyme with Venice. We had so much fun while Mommy was off with Lisa having their own fun at breakfast. But, really, how much fun was it without us?
Here I am modeling a hat and sweater set that one of Daddy's friends made me when I was born. It looked SO big to Mommy a nd Daddy then, but it fits me now!

Party on Ocean Avenue

Last night, we had a bunch of my friends over from the neighborhood. Here is everyone, except for Jayden, who was sleeping when this photo was taken. And, Elle's face is hidden in a book on the left. We played with my train set, read books, made music with my music box, hid in the tent and more. And, of course, there was a delicious spread (Daddy made ahi poke, meatballs, eggplant, etc. , Zoe brought homemade guacamole, Mason and Elle brought yummy cupcakes, Rebecca, Isabella and James brought homemade bread and carrot cake and Mazzy and Jayden brought wine :), but of course we kids didn't have any)...

Here's my new boyfriend, James. I was so gentle with him.

Everyone loved playing with Camille....Rebecca and Elle...

Mazzy. Everyone says that I look just like Mazzy did when she was my age.

Biking and Horseriding

Today, we went for a long bike ride along the beach to the Santa Monica Pier and beyond. We stopped at the carousel so that I could ride the "Orses". I rode once with Mommy and once with Daddy and of course, with my friend, Zoe.
After the Carousel, we went to Bubba Gump Shrimp for lunch.

Can you believe the table we had? It was a GORGEOUS day. To my east coast friends, come visit!

More Teeth...."Push".....Ready to Cook

I keep forgetting to mention that I have gotten molars and other additional teeth between my front teeth and my molars. Mommy isn't sure how many because I refuse to fully open my mouth to show her.

On another note, lately, I use my word "Push" when Mommy or Daddy are sitting in a chair that I want to sit in. I push on them and say "Push" until they get out of the way so that I can sit there. I also pull on Mommy and say "Push" if I am trying to get her to come with me. I guess I haven't learned the opposite of push yet.

I have also been caught this week putting Os (Trader Joe's form of Cheerios) and kibble from Mystic and Camille's bowls into the toaster oven (that is not plugged in!) sitting in the pantry. I then close the toaster door and start pushing buttons. I think I am going to follow in Daddy's cooking footsteps so that Mommy NEVER has to cook.

Happy Birthday, Mema!

Here's a hug for my Mema. It is her BIRTHDAY today. We went out to dinner tonight to celebrate. We went to Typhoon at the Santa Monica Airport. I tried calamari for the first time. We had a delicious meal, but at the end, I wanted to wander. Below I am watching an airplane take off with the Mommy of the pilot who is a 25 year old woman.

I love you, Mema! I hope you had a nice birthday with us :)

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Today is a VERY special day for so many reasons. For me personally, it is my Grandma's birthday. Below, I am running with Grandma's present outside the Post Office on Sunday. I really didn't want to give it up because it was fun having this beautiful bag with a present in it on my shoulder. Eventually, I did and it is now on its way to Grandma, but due to the important events in the nation (MLK Day and the inauguration), it may be a little late (sorry, Grandma).

In addition to my Grandma's birthday, today is an incredible day for the nation and for the world. Barack Obama was sworn in as our 44th President and our first African American President. I will post more later on what this means to me, my Mommy and Daddy and the world.
