A Tour Through Our New House

Mommy and I are going to take you for a tour of our new house. We are ALMOST ready to move in. Mommy says we should be in by October. Yeah! I can't wait!

Mommy and I just walked through the front door. To the right of us in the picture is a French door and we are facing the great room (kitchen, living room and dining room) which takes up most of the bottom floor. To our right is a guest bedroom and bathroom.

This is where the living room/great room will look out to our backyard. Mommy and I are standing in front of what will be doors that will slide into the wall (they are actually there now).

Upstairs! This is the family room. Outside the doors behind me and Mommy is a wrap around porch which is upstairs in the front of the house. Through the door to my right is my bedroom and bathroom and another bedroom.

Meeting Another Grace....

Today, Mommy took me to Long Beach to have lunch with Grace and her Mommy, Tanya, and Grisel who I have met before. It was so much fun to have lunch with another person my size. I shared my book "That's Not My Puppy" and Mommy brought string cheese for both Grace and me.

My New Friend (and my old friend, Julie!)

Last night, Julie came over to have dinner with Mommy and Daddy and to visit me. Before I went to sleep we played with my new friend. She still doesn't have a name, but isn't she beautiful. I love to hug her and touch her face. I sometimes pull on her pigtails.

What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas

We went to Vegas this week to visit friends....we saw Michael and Mariangels (from Park City) and Martin and Hemelina from Spain.

On the way to Vegas, we went to the outlets. Mommy found me a doll in Neiman Marcus (sounds expensive? it was 40% off! and it was the outlet). We bought the doll with the money Mema sent me to buy a doll and Elmo....and then I still had money left over so we bought a beautiful Baby Lulu $52 dress for....$14.50!!

While in Vegas, we were having so much fun that we didn't take many pictures. The few pictures are from our time spent at the pool. It was fun...I want to go back!

Here we are on the first day at the Bellagio pool. The fountain pools were refrigerated, but we didn't figure that out until the second day when we went swimming in the big UNrefrigerated pool.

More Stair Climbing and Meeting Rob

Tonight, we went to Karen's house and I met Rob and John for the first time. Mommy used to work with Rob over 10 years ago. Mommy said that he is really funny. John is a pediatrician and he kept trying to pick me up, but I wouldn't let him. I was pretty tired from all of the climbing and crawling all over Karen's house.

Farmer's Market - My THIRD Tooth

This morning, Mommy and Daddy walked me to the Santa Monica Farmer's Market. I slept along the way, but then was surprised when we got there with Rebecca (my neighbor) and her family who were also there. Daddy had me climb a tree and I crawled in the grass and played with Rebecca.

I also met another little boy who has the same stroller as me. His Mommy noticed that I have three teeth on the bottom just like her baby. Can you believe neither Mommy nor Daddy nor Nanny G noticed that my third tooth popped through?

Happy 10 Month Birthday to Me!

Today was my 10 month birthday! We started out the day going to my gym and swim class. I had a lot of fun climbing all over the mats now that I can move well. I think I tired myself out in the gym as I was so tired during swim class.

After class, I fell asleep in the car while Mom and Dad did some home remodel shopping. And, in the afternoon, Nanny G came to play with me while Mom and Dad continued their shopping and went out on their first date since I was born! (They want to Father's Office and to the Santa Monica "Glow" event, along with 50,000 others!)

Under the Sea -- Rejection/Climbing and More

Nanny G took me to Under the Sea, a fun indoor playground! I had so much fun crawling all over the place and exploring. Mommy loved to see the videos. I am only uploading 2 of them.

Here I am learning to climb. Later in the weekend, I had a chance to climb more. I will post videos later.



In this one, you can see how social I am. Unfortunately, the "big" girls didn't want to play with me and they stopped their meal when I came over. I didn't care, though. Who needs them?

Milestone: Feeding Camille

Aunt Julie came to visit last night. Daddy cooked up a delicious meal. Cuban fish and avocado, rice (which had peas in it and I ate the peas) and Mojito Salad. I am not yet a salad eater, but I bet I would have liked it. At the end of the meal, I started giving my pasta to Camille and thought it was hilarious.

"Work" Dinner with Mommy

Tonight, after spending the day with Daddy, I went downtown to have dinner with Mommy's colleague, Cheryl and their favorite client (Debbie and Claudia) at The Palm. Although I love steak, I only had a little because I had already had so many peas, some meatball and tofu before dinner arrived. Mommy also gave me some avocado from the salad she shared with Debbie. Yummy! It was so much fun!

Looks like I may be getting beyond my separation anxiety....on Sunday, I hung out with Greg and tonight with Claudia!

Beach Picnic Breakfast and Class!

Today, we had class in the afternoon and there were only 3 babies there so we had a lot of room. Daddy even joined us. The sensory class was all about drumming. The first half of class we banged around the drums....

and sat on top of them.

I kept going over to the teacher's doll. Here I am kissing her. Mommy promised that she is going to buy me a doll....maybe this week!

Amanda's 4th Birthday Party

Today, Mommy and I went to Montrose (don't even know where that is) for Amanda's Princess Birthday Party. There was a real live Princess there, but I really didn't pay attention to her. We ate pizza and cake and played a lot. Mommy got to see people she hasn't seen in a long time (Adrienne, Kate) and their kids. We also got to see Connor and his Mommy, Grisel and Daddy, Jeff.

It was 90 degrees, but that didn't stop me from crawling all over the lawn. I would have gone into the jumpy house, but there were mostly 4 year olds in there and they might have crushed me (so says Mommy). Here I am playing with Claude (his twin brother, Noel was there, too -- their Mommy is Adrienne). Claude was hiding and I was trying to find him.

This is Princess Amanda, the birthday girl. When Mommy was little, she said they played Pin the Tail on the Donkey at birthday parties. Here, Amanda is starting the game "Pin the Wand on the Princess".
