Kindergarten "Graduation"
Gigi had a great year this year. Mrs. Pippin was the most incredible teacher for our children. Here, she is reading some thankful words from her students.
And, Mrs. F, the assistant teacher, also a wonderful person
Mrs. Pippin used the SmartBoard throughout the year and showed us how it was used on their last day of school.
They sang "I believe I can fly"
And Principal Jenkins, one of a kind.

Macy's Flower Show
We were staying 3 blocks away from Macy's at 31st and 7th in the city. We went to the Macy's Flower Show which had an Asian theme this year.
After the show, we grabbed a pedicab for a short ride.
Just like Macy's windows are decorated at the holidays, they decorate them for the Flower Show. Beautiful.

New York, Part I
Red eye flight arrived early into JFK for the start of a wonderful trip to NY/NJ. First up, visiting with our former neighbors who moved to Montclair 2 years ago. Barely awake, we headed to Z's soccer game in the very chilly March weather. Afterward, we went to lunch at a diner and to Trader Joe's (stickers and lollipops!)
We relaxed all weekend at Z and L's house. A lot of rainbows were drawn - Gigi's favorite.
Tooling around the 'hood.
Signs of spring - purple crocuses in the yard....or as Gigi said, "Tulips". I remember when the crocuses came up in Connecticut. A sure sign that winter was gone and spring had sprung.
The T's painted a chalkboard on their kitchen wall. So much fun.
A picture of Z, G and L - Love and Peace.
We are so glad we were able to visit and see the T's new home. Comfy and lovely.

The Leprechaun Visit
The Leprechaun Trap worked....well, sort of. He came and was drawn to the trap by the popcorn, but he somehow escaped. Gigi is sure that his name is Lucky because there was a sign on the door saying so. He also left green coin purses with golden coins.
He also left Gigi and Jordan some green cups and golden coins in the play room.
And, some green "juice". He must have gotten thirsty while eating the popcorn.
The stairs leading upstairs had a trail of green cups and golden coins.
A green necklace and Minnie and Mickey fans were left in their boots.
This is Gigi's vanity.....a green garland, green headband and silly string everywhere!
Green milk on the cereal...
And green balloons galore!
Mama's green smoothie.....though that is a standard morning treat.
And, the bathroom with silly string and green toilet water.
Happy St. Patty's Day!
