Our last day in Maui

On our last day in Maui, we went to Mama's Fish House for a yum-a-licious lunch (for Mama and Daddy).  Jordan and I went swimming at the pool in the morning so we were tired and both fell asleep on the way.  I woke up and colored a picture with Daddy.

After lunch, we played on the beach.  Jordan wanted to be a climber just like me.

After lunch, we went into Paia and saw this beautiful rainbow on the way to get Jordan something to eat at Mana Foods.

I got my first (and only) Shave Ice.

Maui friends

We were lucky to be able to spend time with M and Z, the friends we met when we were in Maui last year.  We watched the luau with them one night from the pool and they invited us to their house for pool time, pizza and iPad movies.

Hawaiian Traditions

We joined our friends at the Four Seasons for a little hula and torch lighting.  It was a lot of fun to chase the torch lighter around the property.  We also saw some hula accompanied by Hawaiian music at the Wailea shoppes on Wailea Wednesday.

Stand up Paddle Boarding

Mama decided to take a stand up paddle board lesson on Tuesday morning at 8:30 am.  My friends were already visiting for some pool time, so we all went down to the beach to send Mama off.

After learning about what we are supposed to do once we are out there, we helped Mama carry the board down to the beach.

And, off she went!

A few days later at our friend's pool, Jordan tried a little stand up paddle boarding on the boogie board. Fun!

Jordan's Maui Obsessions

Jordan was obsessed with the "golf carts" and even got me into stealing time on them.  We would often run to a cart if it was unattended near the pool and get the seat all wet with our bathing suits!  When we saw the guy coming back, we would run.

Jordan got to ride on his first cart after our pool time at the M and Z's house.  He was thrilled!

But, the biggest thrill was to ride with the whole family on our last day.

Besides milk, baba (paci), bowie bops and Daddy, Jordan also loved watching the fish and any other animal that was wandering by.  He kissed and hugged and fed many dogs along the way.

The beauty of Maui

Maui is such a magical place for so many reasons.  The natural beauty is incredible.  These three photos were taken on our Twin Falls hike.

We also went to the Nahalele blow hole.  Mama is the only one who hiked down this far to get a few photos.  The rest of us were in the car as it was quite windy on this part of the island.

This is a beautiful beach on the north part of the island.  Very windy, so we didn't stay long.

And, of course, the adult-only Serenity Pool.  I posed for a picture before most adults were up!

And, of course, sunset.

The koi pond at the entrance to our hotel was visited at least once a day by me and Jordan.  One day at lunch time, I was able to feed them.  Here they are eating.
