Pool Time in Maui

We spent a lot of time at the pool in Maui.  Our room was right outside the kiddie pool, but we also spent time at the pool at the Four Seasons with my friends and the other pools where we took swim lessons.

The kiddie pool has a nice "beach area" where we played with our Costco beach toys.

And, Mama kept telling Jordan to stop drinking the pool water.  Yuck!

The kiddie pool has a few "big kid" slides.  You have to be 42 inches to go on them.  I am 42 inches but chickened out.  Instead, I cheered Mama down both of them many times.  We loved playing in the bottom of the slide until we were "scolded" by pool security to stop playing there.

Here I am at my first swim lesson with Miss M.  I took 3 lessons from her.  She is from Nevada and is a swim teacher.

Jordan also took a lesson but slept through a few of them.  He loved the water and swimming with his new floatie.

When we went to our friend's pool to swim, we found a "Jordan filter" there.

The kiddie pool also had a fun "jungle gym" in the pool.

One afternoon, my friend invited us to the Four Seasons pool.  Jordan went down the slide with Mama and then went down many many times all by himself.

Behind the hot tub, we went on a jungle exploration.

More lesson time.  Jordan was wearing my shirt because he forgot his.

 Learning to go backwards.

Jordan's boo boos poolside.

This is what happens after so much swimming!

Off to Maui

We left for our 9 day trip to Maui on a Wednesday morning.  Jordan insisted on being my porter.  He plays with her suitcase a lot at home.

Mama has talked about possibly getting him his own for his birthday, but when she bought him a green booster seat recently, he still wants to sit in my pink one.  So, if she gets him a different suitcase, he will probably still want mine.  Jordan is all about me these days (or so Mama says)...."I want Gigi" which means, I want what Gigi has.

When we got tired during our trip, we both had comfy strollers.  We made a stroller train at the Wailea Shoppes.

Family Hair Day (even Camille)

Yesterday, we ALL got our hair cut (and some got it colored). Even Camille got a cut, though not from Jonathan, just mama. Jordan's cut was his first official cut. Mama cut a little in the back a few months ago, but that doesn't count.

Jordan is much calmer than I was for my first cut. WIth a little I-Phone action, no problem. Jordan actually loves being "groomed" (hair, nails, teeth, no problem).

After school on Tuesday, Grace took me and Jordan to the library to make butterflies with other kiddos. Even though you were supposed to be at least 5 to participate, they let me AND Jordan make butterflies. Mine is above and Jordan's is below.
