Balloon Jordan

I brought a balloon home from the birthday party for Jordan. He was SO happy and played with it at bath time.

Birthday Party Saturday

Today was one of my friend's birthday parties (from T school). I had a really fun time. First, I got my first glitter tattoo. Mama had never seen them before. Beautiful, no?

Super Bowl Sunday

For Super Bowl Sunday, we had just a few friends over, including Auntie Peri. Even though Jordan doesn't like TV, he loved watching the Madonna half time show.

We had a fun kids' meal of homemade chicken cutlets and other yummy treats.

Breakfast for Two

This morning, we both had a pear for breakfast and gathered other fruit. Mama wanted me to put it back because she didn't want half eaten fruit .... but I explained that the banana was for a snack and the apple was for during the SuperBowl.

Sunny Family Day Sunday

Almost 80 degrees....January.

We are so lucky to live here in Southern California. Today, we ventured out to the Sunday Farmers Market. We haven't done that in quite awhile. We got going a little late because the buggy for Jordan who was close to his nap time had a flat and needed to be fixed.

So, we got to the market JUST in time for me to ride "Millie" (what we call Camille) one time.

After the market, we continued our bike ride down to the pier and rode the ferris wheel and couple of other rides. Here is our view from way up there.

Can you tell Jordan wasn't a huge fan of the Carousel? He was trying to figure it all out and when it got going fast, he started to cry....which is funny because even his first ride on a real pony, he wasn't scared.

We love family day Sunday.....except, that it is the day before the school/work days start over.

Martin Luther King Day Hike - Palos Verdes - Terranea

It was a chilly, but beautifully sunny day. We headed out with friends to Terranea....and we found prickly pear.

and rocks to climb on!

We tried to see far away, but even with our quarters, it didn't work.

Lunch at the restaurant made it a PERFECT day.
