Jordan's boy tendencies??

Jordan LOVES the vacuum cleaner. He has been known to go downstairs in the morning and lead either Mama or Daddy to the closet where the vacuum is. He likes riding it like above or using it. He doesn't let Carmen get ANY work done if he is at home on Fridays. He just wants her to vacuum with him.

Posted by PicasaHe also loves turning things on and off and anything electronic (Ipad, Iphone, electric toothbrush, electric drill (toy) and more). Here he is turning the light on and off while standing on the second shelf of the toy kitchen. Sometimes he is seen on top of the kitchen or on top of the desk. Lately, he uses our little chairs as a step stool (copying me). Mama keeps hiding them so he uses the table instead and just climbs on top of the table....pushes it where he wants to go and then up he goes.

Happy Birthday, Grace!

We celebrated Grace's birthday (Jan 2) a few days late since she had the day off and we needed a night to recover from our visitors!

Rich and his girlfriend joined us for Grace's favorite....sushi and other Japanese food.

Beach Picnic

Before heading out to the beach this morning, Allen made fresh empanadas and we baked some chocolate chip cookies (empanadas were chicken or broccoli rabe pesto sausage). Yum.

Jordan on the other hand, opted for an orange.

We did a lot of
Jordan went flying while we surfed.

And, then he took a rest.

Just before we left the beach, Michael and Jamie buried us!

At home, we tried out my babycake pop maker that Mama got for $3!! They came out delicious.

Happy 3rd Birthday, little (or big?) M

How could it be that Melese is three?

After a fun day at the beach, we went to M and m's house to celebrate Melese's 3rd birthday.

We played with his new drum set and Jordan rode Melese's DADDY's ride on toy.

We built a New Year's city.

And danced to the beat of an awesome band.

I pretended to be Mama leaning back on the horse.

Unfortunately, we had to leave before this AWESOME cake was cut because Mama and Daddy had a planned night out. Can you believe Melese's daddy made this? And, who thought he could come up with something as awesome as last year's garbage truck cake?

New Years Day at the beach!

In the morning, we headed out to Venice Beach....quickly the long sleeves came off.

Jordan wanted to be just like me and Zoe and climb climb climb.

Then, Michael gave Jordan some sand shoes.
