Beach Day

Yesterday we had a great day at the beach flying kites.

Sweet enough?

I can't post pictures (yet). The webmaster needs to fix something on my Mac so I can post again. But, in the meantime, a funny story from the peanut gallery...

Tonight, after dipping the apples in the honey and eating them, Gigi took it to the next step. She not only wants a sweet new year but she wants to be sweeter. She took the rest of her honey and rubbed it all over her body....I told her that all the mosquitoes are going to have a nice sweet feast tonight.

Earlier, after putting makeup on her new doll (the head of a doll to practice hair and makeup), she made herself up with BLUE eyeshadow and who knows what. Scary! Now, for that a picture would speak the story!

Testing our new expanded storage

We had a storage shortage but this appears to be resolved now. I am creating this post to see if we can upload more photos now. By the way - the photo is Jordan watching his sister at ballet class through a window. He was not permitted in the classroom.

Birthday Party Saturday

On Saturday, we went to a princess party for a friend of mine from school. I dressed up in my Cinderella dress, smelled some roses and off we went! When we arrived, we were brought to the back for hair and makeup. I waited until later for this.

The yard was adorned with MANY balloons. Jordan was in balloon heaven.

He kept reaching for every balloon he saw and of course, biting them if he got them in his hands.

This is one of my good friends from school. She is coming to my party next weekend!

I had my face painted as Ariel even though I was wearing a Cinderella dress.

Princess K's Mom thought of EVERYTHING...

Aloha Maui

After a week of fun in the sun, it was time to say goodbye to Maui....but not without one last full day of fun with my friends, Max and Zack, from Alberta.

We met at the beach early in the morning, jumped cliffs and waves and boogie boarded.

Then, we took a break and played bean bag toss before meeting up again at the beach later in the day.

Aloha Maui! We hope to see you again soon.

Maui Sunsets and Luau

Sunset on our last full night in Maui....after a lot of swimming, I put on my grass skirt and watched the luau from the pool. I learned a few moves while I was at it.

We went to Wailea Beach and found our friends from Canada.

We borrowed their boogies boards and tried them out.
