Beach!

Something about that beach air! Gigi has been sleeping since 4 pm!!

And, Jordan. He is in love with his Daddy. Gigi always preferred me at this age, but not Jordan. He is reaching for him.....and wants his comfort when he is tired.

Peaches and Apricots

Jordan's new thing is to eat peaches and apricots whole. While Mama was in NY on business, someone bought a huge vat of peaches (Costco?) and every time he sees them, he reaches for it. Could be before breakfast, middle of the day, probably even middle of the night if he was going by.

The funniest part of this habit is that if you give him a napkin he holds the peach in one hand, the napkin in the other and he wipes his face every 2nd or 3rd bite. It is quite messy and Mama is complaining that peach does not come out of clothes. I guess Shout doesn't live up to its words.
Yum!

Pinkalicious and Art Saturday

On Saturday morning, Mama painted my toes and fingernails multiple colors (of course, I insisted, she paint hers, too) and off we went to see the play "Pinkalicious" with my friend Tati. It was a great play put on by children.
In the afternoon, I finished up the purse I started painting with Tali when she visited last weekend...
....more art happened this weekend, but the final products will be shared at a later date!

Jordan Slept Through the Night!

At one year, 2 weeks, Jordan finally slept through the night!! From 8:30 - 6 am....maybe it was the ocean air?

or a game of peek-a-boo at the ocean when we went for sunset?

whatever it was, repeat please!

Our 4th of July

Breakfast out at a restaurant. We were the only ones there! We Skyped Pepa and Grandma and Grandpa.

In the morning, we played in the pool and with the water table Jordan got for his birthday.

In the afternoon, we went to the beach!

Gigi or Jordan?

Today, we celebrated NannyG's son Richard's 8th grade graduation. Congratulations, Richard!

While at Grace's house, Mama saw this picture and took a double take. Was it Jordan or Gigi?

Goodbye Friends....See you SOON!

This weekend, we hosted a "goodbye" party to our dear friends who are moving to New York this week. When Gigi heard we were having a goodbye party, she said she wanted to have a "hello" party, a "Hello Kitty" party. To greet her guests, Gigi opened up her restaurant where she was offering water for "5 bucks", juice, carrots and various other items.

Jordan as usual was causing trouble.....climbing and reaching...

Camille greeted guests from Eliza's garden.

Gigi was so happy to have Sophia at the party. They haven't seen each other in quite awhile even though S lives across the street!

Camille was hoping for some ribs or chicken, so she spent her time behind the bar after she came in from the garden.

Who needs to go to London for the Double Decker bus?

The bar was hopping! No 21 year age requirement here!

Lisa, Michael, Zoe and Lucy....New York, New York. (or is it New Jersey?) We will miss you, but you won't be so far away. And, you always have a place to stay not too far from the beach or other friends. We hope to be able to host a true "Hello" party when you come back!
