Pancakes and Mango for Breakfast

Daddy and I made yummy pancakes this morning. We were out of regular pancake mix so we made pumpkin pancakes with the random fruit additions by me. I had 3 of them and even Jordan liked them! It was his first time eating pancakes. Good thing he has big Sister guiding him in his culinary habits. I didn't have a pancake until I was over 2 1/2!

Fish is not just for eating

So, there was a little Friday afternoon snafu yesterday. Daddy thought Mommy or Grace was picking me up from school, Grace thought Mommy was picking me up from school and Mommy was, well busy at work. I wasn't picked up on time, but it turned out just perfect for me. Teacher Vanessa let Piggie (the guinea pig) out of his cage and he ran around the ladybug rug. Then, she read Winnie the Pooh to both of us and I had ALL of her attention. How can that be bad?

Well, after those that should have picked me up realized that they were late, Daddy came and got me at 6 pm. He took me to his favorite Japanese market to pick up some items for dinner. I insisted he buy these fish. Mama was disgusted....they smell and she said they aren't the kind of fish she likes. But, good thing I have the Daddy I do because he bought them for me.....and it made for some fun playtime while I ate my real dinner.

Snow Day!

This week, we had a snow day at school. 10 tons of snow were "delivered" or actually, Daddy found out that they made the snow at the school before we got there in the morning. We sang and danced with Teacher Davis. Kylie and I had the best moves!

Sunday Visitors

Today, Joe and MaryJane came to visit us and stay for the evening. We went to the beach and then out to lunch.

Hiking!

Okay, so the first picture isn't hiking, but me enjoying a fudge bar. Last Monday for President's Day, we went hiking with Merrick, Amy and Grandma. Grandma thinks I hiked a mile up. Whatever it was, it was a lot for little 'ol me.

Jordan slept the WHOLE way.

He even slept during snacktime when we were at the top of the mountain

Jordan's 8 month appointment

Jordan was 19 lbs 6 oz and 27.5 inches long today at his 8 month appointment (at 9 months, I was 20 lbs, 5 oz and 29 inches, so I think he might go past me soon). He was 50th percentile for height and weight and 85th for head circumference. I also had a big head!
