Happy 11th Anniversary, Mama and Daddy

Eleven years ago on Sunday, Mama and Daddy got married in Mystic, Connecticut. And, it was also Sunday, September 5th. This year, we celebrated by going out to lunch at The Fish Market. I was sleeping for the first part of the lunch, but woke up just after the restaurant delivered this yummy dessert. Luckily, I was just waking up and didn't really notice (well, lucky for Mama and Daddy because I would have wanted some!

Before I woke up, Mama and Daddy shared a bunch of appetizers and a bottle of white. Here are the Ginger Lime Shrimp!

After lunch, we walked around. There were many statues commemorating the soldiers in WWII....including this famous one.

and, I practiced being an airplane!

More San Diego...

On Saturday night, we wandered down the path outside our hotel and found a "fish shack" on the marina. I ordered chicken (I like fish, but just was in a chicken mood) and mama and daddy had fish and chips. Daddy and I played in the sand after (and during!) dinner.

Swimming with Daddy

Here I am at the pool with Daddy today and yesterday (the first picture above is from our San Diego trip last year). It was very windy in the bay at the pool, but we swam anyway. Today, the air is only going to be 68 degrees, so we are going to the zoo!

Riding Shamu

Before we left for San Diego, I got on my noodle with my baby and told Mama that I was riding Shamu!

We had a wonderful day at SeaWorld on Friday and went back yesterday. Here are a few of the many pictures we took. We also spent a bunch of time at the Sesame Street Bay of Play. I dragged Daddy all over the place and bounced in the bouncy house. More pictures when we are back in Los Angeles. The internet is SLOW here.

Shamu

Ever since Uncle Stephen took me to Sea World last November, I have been talking about Shamu. I loved going to Sea World. So, Mama and Daddy planned a trip to San Diego so we could go see Shamu again (oh, and celebrate their anniversary). Mama mentioned it to me last weekend and I thought we were going the day she mentioned it. Boy, was I disappointed. But, the good news is that we are leaving this morning! See you in San Diego.

Sunday, a Day of Cooking

Jordan and I made chocolate chip cookies and brownies on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday morning, Mama and I made French Toast with challah. Yum!

And, for dinner on Sunday, Daddy and I made pizza!

Fun with Friends and a Birthday Party

On Friday night, Kelly and Daniel (our former neighbors) came over....they were visiting from Ohio for Eli's 6th birthday. Eli and his brother, Gus (sitting next to me) also came over. Eli invited me to his birthday party (the next day).
