Gymnastics Saturday: Platform Jumping

For Valentine's Day, we went to the Farmers Market.....I rode a pony and then jumped off these brick stairs at least 50 times...

And occasionally, I rested.

After nap, we went to a late lunch in Santa Monica and then went to the beach!

Princess Bean (again!) and Cousin Chelsea Visits

On Saturday, I went to see Princess Bean again. Mommy and Daddy tried to take me last week, but she was sick (edited by Mama -- really, we signed up for 1/30 and then went on Sunday which was 1/31....Gigi was so upset when we got to the theatre and PB wasn't there!). Luckily, Princess Bean was better this week. We went with Lisa and Zoe, too.

Today, Cousin Chelsea came to visit with her Mom and sister, Brady. We went for ice cream (see all the chocolate ice cream on my face in the first picture) and then for a walk on Venice Beach. I am so glad they came to visit!

Today, I picked out my outfit, got dressed, grabbed my bear and said to Daddy
"I am going to drive to gymnastics, do you want to come?"

Sleeping....Gigi's Bed (by Mama)

Gigi has been in our bedroom (in our bed) since she was 10 months old. We hadn't planned on it that way. She slept in her crib from 5 months - 10 months and in a bassinet before that. At 10 months, she was sick and we had her in our bed and somehow she never left.

Now, she refers to our bed as her bed. For example, "Mama, do you want to come in my bed with me?"

In September when Grandma and Grandpa and Mema and Pepa were here for her birthday, we had a Queen-sized blow up bed in her room where Grandma and Grandpa slept. After they left, she called it "Grandpa's bed". She had an interest in sleeping there. Great! So, we left it up. The interest waned and back in our bed she was.

Today, Allen was putting together her new bed in her room (not the blow up bed - "Grandpa's bed"). She came into the room, looked puzzled and said, "Is that for baby brother?" We said, "No, that's Gigi's new bed!!!" with huge excitement. Well, so far, she is very excited about it. She wanted to get in it right away (of course, we haven't bought the mattress yet). Instead, she was helping Allen put it together..... and said "Yay, yay, yay!"

Let's see if this continues to go smoothly....more to come.

Sunday Morning Picnic with my Baby and Daddy

I always have my backpack filled with snacks. I had a pear, orange, banana and trail mix. I found a blanket, put my princess dress on and invited my baby over for a picnic on the floor. Later, Daddy joined us!

Gymnastics Saturday

Another fun day at gymnastics. Today, I decided to wear my tutu over my shirt and shorts. Class was so big that they split us up in two groups. Luckily, I was still with Coach Lindsey. I love class with her.

My First Play -- Princess Bean!

On Sunday, Mommy and I went to see Princess Bean with some of my friends from school and their Mommies. Here we all are hanging outside at intermission.

Here is Princess Bean! I loved her so much that I cried when it was over because I wanted to see her more.

We even got to meet Princess Bean after the show!

Oh, and a high five for Cinderella!

Grocery Shopping and Pizza with Dad

Last weekend, we went shopping at Ralph's and they had a shopping cart just for me! I took my shopping very seriously and added all sort of items to my cart.

Then, we stopped for pizza at Fresh Brothers.

I was so tired after all that pizza that I fell asleep on the way home!

WOW!

Today, I SHOCKED NannyG....we were playing hide and seek and I went into the bathroom by myself....no potty seat on the big girl potty (that Mama and Daddy use), pulled down my pants and went pee pee.

Mama only wished she had a video to see it for herself when she came home from work!

Update on Potty Training

So, we have been at it for almost 3 weeks. Most days, I use the potty between 3 and 5 times. I often forget that I can get a reward (a baby M&M), so we haven't even gone through one small container of M&Ms. Sometimes, Mama offers up Blues Clues or some other show I really want to watch.

The BIG news from today is that I went to the potty without being encouraged/asked and pulled down my pants and went! We are on our way...

Catching up on last 2 weeks

Well, it's been awhile since the webmaster (aka Mama) has posted. She has been down and out with a cold that won't go away. She gave it to me and I am better, but she isn't.

Here's the sunset on January 3rd...

Grace's birthday was January 2nd, but we celebrated on the 4th with Nyla and her Mommy.

Last week, Lyla and her Daddy came over for a playdate. We walked along the canals to the duck park and had a lot of fun.

This week, Nyla and I made dog biscuits for Mystic and Camille. Nanny G and I also made cookies, but Mama liked the idea of dog biscuits better so she wouldn't eat any!
