I like bathtime again...

or is it that I prefer to have Daddy give me my bath? Ever since we left the sink bath recently, I have cried and cried when bathtime came. Either it is time of day (with Daddy, I take a bath earlier) or person (Daddy, not Mommy). Whatever it is, we are all happier!

Lamar Odom is Walking to Africa!

Okay, for those non-Laker fans or non-sports fans, you probably have no idea who he is. But, I just learned that he is Walking to Africa with me in a few weeks. I have been so busy that I haven't had the chance to practice much, but I still think I can make the 2 miles. One way or the other, we will do it together.

Shopping, Big Surf at the Beach and Yard Sale Weekend

We started our weekend with a Yard Sale on Saturday morning. We invited Aunt Julie and she scored some great things for M&m. After some hard work shopping, we went for breakfast....a blueberry bagel for me. And, then off to the Camarillo outlets for more shopping. Mama needs some summer clothes for our trip to Spain. I can't wait. We leave on July 2nd.

Here I am shopping for some hard to reach items.

Yum. Ice cream (well, really yogurt, but I think they're the same). Do you like my new Crocs?

After shopping, we went to the beach (Paradise Cove, our favorite place). The surf was BIG!

I was a little scared and jumped in Daddy's arms....waiting for the next BIG one.

Then, Daddy was throwing me up in the air.

Fun! You should try it.

This morning, we went to two more yard sales....we scored an amazing Inglesina stroller (retail $350) for $25. Okay, I know we have a bunch of strollers. One was stolen and my other two aren't easy on, easy off, light, easily foldable AND RECLINE. So, we got the $25 one that will be just perfect for our trip. When I have a photo of it, I will show you.
Later in the afternoon, Daddy and I took a bike ride to get a baguette for our guests for the Lakers game....I love bike riding!

Paradise Cove Last Weekend

While Mama was posting pictures from this weekend, she found the Paradise Cove pictures from last Sunday when we went with Grandma and Grandpa. I found a really cool shell.

And loved running up and down the beach, climbing on rocks and playing in the sand. Paradise it is!

Simpler Sunday

Today was a gorgeous day outside, so we tried to spend as much time outside as possible. First, we rode our bikes to Brentwood (about an hour ride) to go the Farmer's Market and have breakfast with Auntie Peri. It has been a LONG time since we have seen her. Mommy promised a horsie ride, but the market didn't have them this week, so we went to the park afterward instead. We were going to go to the carousel on the way home, but I fell asleep in my bike buggy.
Good thing, because when we got home Bryon and Safia had just arrived for a short visit. I played hide and seek with Safia again (I still need to learn to be quiet when I am hiding) and we played in the tent. Before they left, I coaxed EVERYONE (including Daddy, Bryon and Mystic (!)) into the tent. The picture above is Safia and Mystic taking a nap. Mystic sure seems to do a lot of napping....or maybe below, she is sunbathing with our neighbor, Elle.
Then, this afternoon, we hung out in front of our neighbors with two sets of neighbors. Daddy brought out my new yard sale table and chair set ($5!) so that we had a place to sit on the curb. We are probably going to put the new table and chairs in the "screened in porch" of my $3 yard sale two room tent. Who knew you could have a two room house with a place to dine for $8??

"Allen, Come Here" - Go Lakers!

While watching the Lakers beat Orlando badly (sorry Uncle Steve) on Thursday night, Mama caught me calling Dada "Allen" on video.

Super Social Saturday

You would think after 2 birthday parties and a lot of sugar, I would be exhausted and not ready for any more socializing. NOT! This afternoon, we went over to Rebecca, Isabella and James' house for an impromptu barbecue, trampoline jumping and harmonica playing. I finally crashed tonight at 7:30 with little warning.

Girl Serenades (and Chokes) Boy

First, I learned how to play the harmonica tonight. It took a little practice, but I think I have mastered it....then I tried to serenade sweet James

Birthday Party #1 - Jurassic Party for Connor

This morning, we went to Connor's 5th birthday party at Jurassic Party Adventures in Orange County. I fell asleep 10 minutes before the party started and missed the first part of touching and petting the various "prehistoric pets". Once I woke up, I LOVED the animals, though I preferred to look at them through the glass window...

Mama reconnected with many of her friends who she originally met because they shared a tough journey to their children. Here is Sinead and her daughter, Katie...

Here is Katie sharing a chair with Amanda...

These sweet twins are only 3 months old and are Amanda's brother and sister.

Here I am having lunch with Xavi....

And, here is Xavi's gorgeous sister, Ivy
