Happy Birthday, Daddy

Happy Birthday, Daddy! Here we are on your last birthday. I have gotten so much bigger, but you look the same!

I love my Daddy. He really is the best Daddy in the whole world. For those of you who don't know him as well as me, well, let me tell you about him.

He is a snuggly guy....really warm and cuddly...

He likes to share his newspaper with me...

He makes for a very comfortable ride...whether on his shoulders

or in my bike buggy along the ocean on the bike path...
He always makes sure that I visit my friends and neighbors on a regular basis...
And, when it came to making important decisions for our remodel, he always turned to my opinion first....
And sometimes even asked me to help out when our contractor started lagging behind. Most people would see it as work, but I actually love climbing ladders.
Daddy loves sharing with me his love for food....whether in a restaurant while celebrating my 6 month birthday...
or at home.....here he introduced me to steak...
and a caterpillar omelette...
and smoked fish salad!
Daddy also makes sure that I get to see the world. Here we are in New York...
and Boston...
Even though I am not a Pisces, Daddy has shared his love of water with me. I have gone sailing, in the ocean, swimming in the bathtub and I like playing with Mystic's and Camille's water bowls!
Daddy makes sure I get to see the world from all angles, not just the world everyone else sees.
And, when I haven't been able to get to sleep, he walks me around the neighborhood until I finally conk out.
I get to borrow Daddy's i-Phone whenever I need to make an important call, or more importantly, when I desperately need a dose of Elmo.
I can always count on Daddy to put together my toys...
And, he always shares his champagne.

Daddy has taught me so many things....I am very close on being able to make him his morning capuccino. Now, if I can only get up on the counter by myself.

I think it is pretty obvious what makes my Daddy so special. He loves me so much and it shows, doesn't it? The good news is that I love him just as much!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!!

Fountain?

Ever since I learned my new skill this weekend of drinking from a fountain, I have tried to use it in various other places. Here's one!

Regression?

Last week, Daddy caught me eating my baby food with a spoon! Baby food? Remember how I told you that I wouldn't eat baby food when I was a baby? Well, for some reason, I have been going into the cabinet (where Mommy keeps 20 jars of unused baby food that I wouldn't eat) and have been getting it from time to time.

How about my spoon skills? Pretty good, eh?

Today, William and Anabelle came to visit me for Sunday brunch....and some time at the park.
Here we are on the tire at Mother's Beach...

After our company left, we crashed a party at Don and Geri-Ann's house. There were 15 "girls" (28 year olds celebrating a birthday) and we barged in....

Here I am after a long day with friends resting after my nap...

Farmers' Market Saturday and Saturday Night at Daddy's Bar

Today, we went to a different Farmer's Market. We went with Zoe and her Mommy and we tasted a lot of yummy things....including strawberries, guava, pears and even strawberry bagels!

After a bunch of tasting, we went to the playground right next to the market. Here I am with my strawberry bagel running toward Mommy.

And, Daddy taught me how to drink from the water fountain

After a fun day, we enjoyed some of Daddy's yummy cooking and then things got a little crazy with Betty and Richard...

Friday Night with Peri

Tonight, Auntie Peri came to visit. I got to see her two weekends in a row.....after a month dry spell. It was great to have her by for more of Daddy's delicious cooking.

Oscar Party Pics

Some Weekend Pictures

Have to run off to an Oscar party....not feeling very well, so not sure how long we will last, but here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Elmo's birthday party at Borders...but ELMO wasn't there!! There was another GiGi there (Giovana Grace) and we were the only ones wearing Elmo-wear.

Dinner at Tara's (Himalayan cuisine) with Julie and Steven. It was so great to see them. It has been a long time because Julie was sick. So glad she is healthy so we could spend time together.

Early Sunday morning walk on Abbot Kinney.

Eating blueberries at lunch today.

Back at the mattress store testing out other mattresses...

I think I like this one
